It’s that time of year again the cold air, friends and family, all the food you can eat, and of course giving and receiving presents. But let’s be honest if your family is anything like mine, then you will I definitely need this go getters guide to surviving Christmas with your family! That is right today we are breaking down the tips and tricks on how you can stay alive this christmas. Shall We Begin…
Tip #1- So what im single!
This is my first year in a long time but I’ve been single and I’ve already gotten so many questions from family members saying why are you single you shouldn’t be single and stuff like that. And the simple answer to that is technically I’m not single I’m with myself. Yeah I know how cheesy that sounds but it works lol
Tip #2- Thanks for the socks!
I don’t know if it’s just because I’m old (I know 20 isn’t old but i’m old at heart) or that I keep losing socks but I’m excited when someone gives me new socks. But if you’re not like me the simple thing is to say thanks Grandma for the socks. It could be worse she could have given you pencils or shampoo lol
Tip #3- The Fruit cake!!
I know there will be one person who is going to try and give you fruit cake! So just simply say thank you and turn around and find out who actually likes it and give it to them!!
Tip #4- the singing!!
“We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!!” Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Christmas song but when it comes to the 4th time of jingle bell I kind of back off. So just smile awkwardly and dance a little will be over soon I think…
Tip #5- have a great time with family!
After all the fruit cakes and singing you have your family! So spend some time with them and just be happy! It’s the one time of year you guys are all together so enjoy it!
