So I got this velvet tank top from my grandmother the other day and I made it my mission to try to put together a outfit with it.. That’s right for this week’s outfit of the week I’m doing a outfit you probably won’t wear but I said I would try and I sure as hell did try lol! So let’s get started!
I had no clue what I was going to for the makeup! I wanted something that was bold but the shirt was bold enough so I kinda did a low key, tamed smokey eye, and then I went with just a light mascara. Then for my face I doesn’t bronzer my eyebrows and I went with the neutral type pink for my lips!! Then my hair I really liked a high ponytail with this look. Now on to the outfit!
So let’s start with the shirt…. My grandma got it at a little Boutique for only $2 which I thought was amazing it’s a really cute shirt but I never saw myself ever wearing something like this and I don’t know why. The color of it is kind of like a light pink and it’s spaghetti strapped of course. It kind of has a little length to it at the bottom which I like so that way I can like ruffle it up men stomach to hide my rolls lol and that’s about it for that. Now to pair with it is wear I was lost! I wanted a darker tone to it but I didn’t want something that was overpowered with patterns and color. So I didn’t my guys grey and black flannel! I got this at Walmart for $8!! If you are looking for a guys flannel I 100% recommend going to Walmart and go to the guy section their flannels are the best and they’re only $8! Then I just went with my black leggings from adore me that I’m always wearing! Then for booths just like went with my black booties from JCPenney’s that I am in love with!!
That’s about is for this outfit of the week!! This one was really fun to do because I got to build a outfit that was kinda out of my comfort zone and make it my own!
