I know what you’re thinking, I was that person who thought meditation didn’t work it didn’t do anything it wasn’t helpful nada! But then I found headspace. Now before I get started I want to say that I’m not forcing you to like meditation I’m not saying it’s a miracle worker. You can have your opinion on it and that is 100% okay and I would love to hear your thoughts and your opinions on meditation down in the comments below. Now let’s get on to the post!
What is headspace?
If you havent head of headspace it’s an app for meditation! I’ve been using it for about two and a half months now and it’s been my all-time favorite. I mostly love it because it has a bunch of different categories like anxiety, stress, bedtime, and different stuff like that so I can choose what type of meditation I want to do. It is free with paid features.(No I’m not sponsor by them just love the app!)
Why I meditate!
I get so stressed so easily because I do so much throughout the day. I’ve noticed that I get frustrated at random stuff because of all the built-up stress that I have. Meditation has always been something I wanted to try but I also was skeptical about it because I didn’t think anything would be able to help my stress. But then one day I just tried it and after one day nothing really happened. But after a full week of doing it I felt great. It doesnt take away all your stress but it did clear my mind and helped me focus more. I’m not getting As frustrated as I used to be and its great. I have tried didnt meditations on the app like they had a sick one and I have had the flu for the past 2 weeks so that one has been my best friend. It doesn’t make you not sick but it does clear your mind and that is amazing! For me meditations didn’t change my life but it does improve it and I know for everyone it will do different things!
