Hey fabulous friends,
It’s been a while since we last chatted about my nose, and many of you have been eagerly asking for an update. So, let’s dive into the nose-y details!

Backstory time! 🕰️ About a year ago, I started noticing something strange—my nose seemed a bit crooked. At first, I thought maybe it was just my imagination or a quirky angle in the mirror. But as time went on, it became more noticeable. So, to the doctor I went, and they told me? I have a deviated septum!
Now, for those who might not know, a deviated septum is when the thin wall of bone and cartilage (aka the septum) that separates your two nostrils is a little wonky. This can cause all sorts of fun symptoms like nasal congestion, difficulty breathing through the nose, frequent sinus infections, nosebleeds, and even snoring. And let me tell you, it has been quite the journey as my symptoms have gotten worse over time.

Drumroll, please… 🥁 It’s time for the update! My nose is still as crooked as ever! (Cue the dramatic music.) I’ve been having more trouble breathing and have had more sinus infections that knock me out of commission. But hey, I’m surviving and pushing through like the warrior I am!
The next step is surgery to fix this pesky problem. However, I need to be in the right mental and physical space to fully recover, and with my current schedule juggling school, work, and family, it’s just not the right time. So, while the new nose is on the horizon, for now, I’ll continue to rock the mouth breather life (sorry 😂).
Thanks for all your love and concern, and I’ll keep you posted on any future nose adventures! As always I’ll see you in the next post!
