The first six months of the year were… a rollercoaster. From sparklers and Taco Bell runs to drama, hair dye, and milkshakes, it was a season of chaos, growth, and unforgettable nights. Let’s rewind:
🌟 January – New Year, New Theme

We kicked off the year with Em and Izzy, clinking glasses to our iconic theme: “No Time for Bitches.” Honestly, a mood. At the time, Sarah and Cam were still in the mix we were swapping memes and photos like it was our full-time job.
Also, I held a sparkler for the first time ever (yes, I know, wild). Izzy watched Hamilton for the first time too, and seeing her fall in love with it was one of my favorite nights. Add in kite flying, park hangs, and way too much Taco Bell, and January was pure chaotic joy.
💔 February – Writing Through the Storm

February was heavy. Writing became my lifeline, especially with everything unraveling with Em. Things got bad the abuse started and Valentine’s Day ended up being the last time Em hung out with me and Izzy (thankfully).
To top it off, Izzy’s car broke down. We tried to fix it, but nope… RIP to that adventure.
🎨 March – Paint, Birthdays, and Breakthroughs

March was all about creativity and change. Izzy and I painted constantly (we’re kind of amazing at it, not gonna lie). She turned 20 cue the confetti!
There was a rough fight with Dad (thanks, Emily), but it turned into a turning point. Since that night, Dad’s been taking his meds and working on himself. Meanwhile, I started prioritizing my own self-care, which felt like a huge step forward.
🌸 April – Signs from Grandma

April was quieter but magical. Izzy was skating, I was running, and we were still chatting with Sarah and Cam. Then one day, I found a dollar bill with handwriting that looked exactly like my grandma’s. It was something she would write, no doubt. I gave it to Izzy but kept a photo it felt like a little sign from her.
💇 May – Hair Dye & Healing

May was transformation month. I dyed my hair half red, half black (throwback vibes!) and started anxiety meds finally feeling good again.
I stopped caring about Emily’s nonsense and started saying the things everyone else was too scared to say. She was 23, living rent-free, and it was time someone told her to grow up.
On the brighter side, Izzy dyed her hair too, and it turned out gorgeous. I was low-key jealous of how long her hair is, but mostly just obsessed with how amazing it looked.
🎭 June – Lies, Milkshakes, and the Tonys

June was… dramatic. I called Em out on one of her biggest lies, and of course she exploded, slapped me, and ran to Sarah’s house. Cue the lies and cover-ups.
But Izzy and I kept our joy alive with milkshakes, painting, and watching the Tonys together celebrating Hamilton’s 10th birthday! Meanwhile, Sarah and Emily started spreading lies about me, marking the beginning of their downfall.
🌈 First Half Takeaway
The first six months were messy, magical, and full of growth. From sparklers to self-care, from drama to dyed hair, it was all about finding strength, celebrating small joys, and realizing who’s really in your corner.
Stay tuned for Part 2: The Second Half of the Year because if you thought this was wild, the rest of 2025 had even more twists.
