Today is a special day not just because itās my tiaās birthday, but because itās a chance to celebrate one of the most important people in my life. If you know her, you already know sheās magic. If you donāt, let me tell you why she means the world to me.

š She Makes Me Feel Seen
In a family where itās easy to feel overlooked or misunderstood, my tia has always been the one who truly sees me. Not the version of me I try to present, not the version people expect but the real me. The messy me. The emotional me. The growing me.
She notices things without me having to say a word. She reads my silence, my energy, my little shifts. She knows when Iām hurting even when Iām trying to pretend Iām fine. And she never makes me feel dramatic or ātoo muchā for feeling deeply. She just⦠gets me.
šæ Sheās Been There Since I Was Little
Some people come into your life later. My tia has been there since the very beginning.

When I was a kid, I was always hanging out with her. If she was going somewhere, I was right there beside her in the car, at the store, running errands, grabbing food, going on little adventures that felt huge to me. She took me everywhere, and those moments became some of my happiest childhood memories.
She wasnāt just a tia she was my safe place, my buddy, my escape, my favorite person to tag along with. And the best part is⦠nothing has changed.
Now Iām grown, but I still find myself going over every weekend, still laughing with her the same way I did when I was small. The jokes are the same, the comfort is the same, the love is the same. Itās rare to have someone who stays that constant in your life, and I donāt take it for granted.
šø Sheās Helped Shape Who I Am
I wouldnāt be who I am without her. Truly.
Sheās taught me how to trust myself.
Sheās taught me how to love myself.
Sheās taught me how to stand up, even when my knees are shaking.
Sheās the kind of woman whose influence stays with you in your choices, in your healing, in the way you treat others. Sheās been a lighthouse for me, guiding me through storms I didnāt think Iād make it out of.
š Happy Birthday, Tia
Today, I celebrate her her kindness, her wisdom, her strength, her softness, her humor, her heart. I celebrate the way she loves so deeply and so naturally. I celebrate the way she makes people feel safe just by being herself.
I hope this year brings her the same comfort sheās given me.
I hope she feels the same love she pours into everyone else.
I hope she knows how appreciated she is not just today, but every day.
Happy birthday to the woman who has been my anchor, my guide, my safe place, and my biggest blessing. I love you more than words can ever say. And thank you for raising an amazing daughter that is now a huge part in my life.
