Welcome back to another chaotic chapter of Daisyās Book Club, where we read romance, fall in love with fictional men who should probably be in therapy, and then pretend weāre normal about it. Todayās book? Your Masked Valentine by Pru Schuyler a story that grabbed me by the throat in chapter one and refused to let go.

About the Book
Your Masked Valentine is a spicy, mysterious, slightly unhinged romance that mixes obsession, anonymity, and that delicious āI shouldnāt want you but I doā tension. It follows a heroine who gets tangled up with a masked stranger who seems to know her a little too well⦠and shows up a little too often⦠and watches her a little too closely.
And listen⦠I ate it up.
One thing I didnāt mention yet this is also a hockey romance, which automatically adds 10 points in my book. The main girlās dad coaches the team, so sheās been around the rink her whole life. And of course, because the universe loves drama, the masked man just happens to be connected to the team in a way that makes everything even more chaotic.
Thereās this subtle enemiesātoālovers energy woven in that āI shouldnāt want you,ā āyou annoy me,ā āwhy are you everywhere I goā tension that mixes perfectly with the stalking, the mask, and the obsession. It gives the story that extra layer of spice and danger that makes you kick your feet while also questioning your morals.
So not only do you get mystery and masked obsession⦠you also get hockey boy attitude, lockerāroom tension, and the forbidden āmy dad coaches youā dynamic. Truly a masterpiece.

My Thoughts (aka me exposing myself)
First of all, this book does not waste time. The spice hits in the first few chapters like the author said, āWeāre not waiting. Buckle up.ā And honestly? I respect that. I loved it. Zero complaints.
But letās talk about the real reason I devoured this book:
I love a man who stalks a little and wears a mask. Iām sorry. Iām not proud. But Iām also not ashamed. Thereās just something about a mysterious man lurking in the shadows, obsessed with the heroine, showing up everywhere like āhey bestie, Iāve been watching youā that scratches a very specific itch in my brain.
The masked tension? The possessiveness? The āI know you better than you know yourselfā energy?
Yeah. I was hooked.
The pacing was fast, the chemistry was insane, and the vibes were exactly what I wanted dark, dramatic, and a little bit feral.
Would I Recommend It?
If you love:
- masked men
- obsessive romance
- spice that starts early and does not let up
- mystery + tension
- morally questionable love interests
Then yes. Read it. Immediately.
If you donāt love those things⦠well⦠this book might terrify you. But for me? It was perfect.
So thatās my official Book Club Review of Your Masked Valentine. I loved it, I devoured it, and I will absolutely be thinking about that masked man for the rest of the month. If youāve read it, tell me your thoughts and if you havenāt, add it to your TBR and prepare to lose your sanity in the best way.
Until next time, happy reading⦠and may your fictional men stay masked, obsessed, and just a little unhinged. šš
