Letās rewind to 2023 when I got myself an iPhone and an Apple Watch. I thought I was just upgrading my tech. Cute, simple, innocent. But that was my official entry into the Apple ecosystem. And once you’re in… you’re in.
A few months ago, Izzy got her own iPad and she was in love. She talked about it all the time how it helped her with work, how she used it to relax, how it just made everything easier. I saw how much joy it brought her and how seamlessly it fit into her routine. And honestly? I wanted that too.
So a few weeks ago, I finally took the plunge. I got myself an iPad. And yes, I put it on Afterpay because weāre doing responsible budgeting the girl math way. š
⨠Goodbye Fire Tablet, Hello Dream Machine
Before this, I was using a 2022 Amazon Fire tablet that I jailbroke just to get Google apps on it. She was cute, she tried her best, and I genuinely loved her. But she was slow. Editing photos? Lag. Writing blog posts? Lag. Playing Roblox with Izzy? Lag and crash. It was time.

Now? My iPad is a total game-changer. I use it for:
- š Planning and writing blog posts
- šØ Editing photos and curating content
- šø Creating whimsical digital art
- š® Playing Roblox with Izzy without lag (a dream)
- š Making everything look cute because obviously
I even got to customize it with my favorite widgets, wallpapers, and accessories. Itās basically my new creative sidekick.

š± Coming Soon: My Favorite Apps
Iāve already found some absolute gems that make planning, drawing, and editing so much easierāand way more fun. Iām putting together a post on my favorite apps, so stay tuned for that!
Getting this iPad wasnāt just a tech upgradeāit was a creative reset. Itās helped me feel more organized, more inspired, and honestly just more me. Whether Iām sketching out blog ideas, editing photos, or playing games with Izzy, itās become part of my everyday joy. So if youāve been thinking about making the switch⦠consider this your sign.
Now excuse me while I go make another aesthetic home screen layout Iāll probably change in two days š
